MEET THE TEAM
Nikki Warren
Owner, Vinyasa and Restorative Teacher, and Yoga Therapist
Falling in love with Yoga was a head-over-heels kind of tumble for Nikki. Enjoying the improved flexibility and ease that came along with her practice that began in 2012, Nikki followed the flow she’d found herself in and immersed herself in 500 hours of Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training. Inspired and committed to growing as a teacher, she would go on to complete 800 hours of Yoga Therapy training and 50 hours of Yoga Nidra training. Nikki has brought her experience to students around the globe in various settings, encouraging them to explore the connections between the mind, body, and breath. From her fiery vinyasa flow classes to her soft and sweet restorative sessions, her dedication, curiosity, and creativity allow her to weave her unique knowledge & magic into every sequence she designs.
Sarah Chien
Bhakti Teacher, and Music Therapist
Sarah’s journey with yoga consciously began under the grace of Anand Mehrotra in March 2020 at Sattva Yoga Academy in Rishikesh, India. At Sattva, she learned the traditional tantric hatha-yoga practices that have been passed down for thousands of years in an unbroken lineage, 'parampara,' from the Himalayan Masters. Since then, she has received an additional 200h on the therapeutic applications of yoga with Ayurvedic Medicine. Sarah continues to deepen her understanding of these teachings through practice, contemplation, and the practices of Bhakti Yoga to continue on the path of inner transformation. Sarah’s classes are guided by intention and wisdom gathered from the deeper philosophical teachings of yoga to guide students into a deeper experience of their minds, bodies, and hearts. It is through these teachings we stoke the inner fire of transformation and awaken to the wisdom that lies at our very core. It is Sarah’s intention as a studio owner and teacher to create a sanctuary where we can flourish in our uniqueness and find peace, transformation, and upliftment through these teachings.
Anna Nyman
Power Yoga, Vinyasa, and Restorative Teacher
Anna stumbled upon yoga through the St. Lawrence University Yoga Club the day after she stepped off her college ski team in 2015. She had been a competitive athlete for 11 years and craved self-discovery. She hated her first yoga class, but she kept going back for a reason she couldn’t explain. Nine years later she is an experienced instructor who has developed a love for sharing this practice with others who are also craving self-discovery.

Brooks Fraser
Hatha and Vinyasa Teacher
Brooks' beloved journey with yoga began twenty years ago at The Yoga Room in Astoria, Queens with Hot Yoga and Vinyasa. What she discovered there was that movement through asana and connecting to the breath was the gateway to mind-expanding and life-changing lessons. She completed her first teacher training there in 2006 in Hot Core Power Yoga. Brooks has been so fortunate to practice at incredible studios over the years including Laughing Lotus and Yogamaya in NYC. In 2017, she began attending regular classes at the Kadampa Meditation Center in Manhattan under the direction of Resident Teacher/National Spiritual Director, Kadam Morten. Brooks completed her 200 Hour Certification in Hatha Yoga and Ayurveda with Gretchen Mills at High Peaks Yoga and Ayurveda in Lake Placid in early 2023 with a full heart.
Brooks looks forward to continuing on this path of intention as she leads classes with the belief that yoga and meditation is for everybody and every body. She is dedicated to expanding her knowledge of yoga, meditation, breathwork, mindfulness and spirituality and sharing that with the community.
Jill Henck
Hatha and Vinyasa Teacher
Jill began her yoga journey in 2011 as a reprieve from the dark NY winters. In 2019 Jill completed her 200-hour Hatha Yoga Teacher training in Albany, NY while also growing a human baby. This process imprinted that yoga is for all bodies and also illuminated the mental health benefits of yoga. Jill puts the fun in fundamentals and encourages everyone to employ a beginner’s mind. Each class is centered around the integrity of breath and connecting with your physical and mental strength. She incorporates dynamic movements and emphasizes the synchronization of breath and movement. Jill’s training is in Hatha yoga which typically indicates a slow strong practice but through years of dabbling has picked up pieces from other traditions as well. Jill prioritizes being curious in all aspects of life including her yoga practice. When she’s not doing yoga she works to mitigate climate change through her job at a local non-profit, supports her husband’s chainsaw carving business, and chases around her two wild children.
Michele Deeney
Restorative Teacher
Michele began her practice over 22 years ago. Initially looking for a more efficient body to assist with her cycling, she turned to yoga. What Michele discovered was that the mind body connection that a yoga practice fosters, was the key! Her practice grew and became one of life's foundations. Michele became devoted to her practice and a student of the mind-body connection. She believes Yoga can provide a space to learn about self, develop a sense of self awareness and a strength beyond the physical. Michele trained with Julie Collucio, completing her 500 hour training with an open heart and a curious soul. She believes yoga has a place for everyone and can expand and stretch both your body and mind. Michele is currently practicing and working to become a Usui Reiki Master.
Mary Kay Noack
Yoga for EveryBody Teacher
Self taught since 2012, Mary Kay has practised on her own, while visiting with many teachers - from Power, to Yin & Kundalini - never settling deeply into any one discipline. After years of struggling through self-study, on a whim she bought 'Meditations from the Mat' by Katrina Kenison & Rolf Gates, which is a journey through the 8-limb path of yoga. Not just a study of pursuing difficult postures, Mary realized there was something she couldn't quite find by herself. After much quandary, an opportunity presented itself with Julie Colluccio's 200-hr Intuitive Yoga Teacher Training in early 2023. Through this, Mary Kay found what she was missing, the spiritual path through yoga that isn't stretching or postures. An understanding that yoga unites mind & body through awareness & allowing oneself grace every moment of every day. Yoga unites strength with flexibility to increase & sustain mobility for life. Yoga is a place for more than flexibility, it is a practice available for any body. Becoming certified in December 2023, she decided to incorporate what she missed into her own teachings. Mary Kay hopes to help others find their own path without hindrance by offering a welcoming community for every body.
